Client & Goal

The ACE Challenge is a golf-based skill contest, specifically the "Hole in One Challenge," where participants from all level, pay an entry fee to attempt a hole-in-one on a par 3 course. Successfully achieving this feat qualifies them for a prize payout. The challenge uses video recordings for verification, and only shots played under specific conditions are eligible.

Developing the ACE Challenge platform presents challenges in implementing automated video verification for hole-in-one attempts using advanced computer vision. Ensuring scalability to support multiple golf courses and secure data synchronization requires robust cloud infrastructure. Additionally, maintaining system reliability, security, and user-friendly integration while adhering to data privacy regulations is critical.

Our development team addressed multiple challenges to bring the ACE Challenge project to life. We implemented a seamless integration of real-time performance monitoring and AI-driven swing analysis across Android and iOS platforms, ensuring high accuracy and scalability. A robust backend was designed to support dynamic features like gamified betting, point tracking, and balancing security with user engagement. Additionally, we optimized the UI/UX to create an intuitive yet competitive environment, providing personalized feedback and gamification while overcoming the complexities of cross-platform synchronization and performance.
