You’re applying for the role of Electrical Engineer with a Passion for Embedded Software—or, if you prefer, Embedded Software Engineer with a Passion for Hardware. Either way, you’re a versatile developer who thrives on both hardware and embedded software challenges. As part of our Electrical Engineering team, you will collaborate with our other teams (Web & Cloud, Design & Engineering) to develop a wide array of products and full-scale IoT services. You'll be working on diverse solutions, at various stages of development, for a broad range of clients across multiple industries.

We map, sketch, design, prototype, test, integrate, and manage the product lifecycle. As an Electrical Engineer, you will dive deep into creating electrical solutions, designing architectural overviews, prototyping PCBs, and writing embedded software for your applications.

Because we are part of the Bestronics Group, you will see your work come to life through different development phases until your PCBs are produced on the high-end assembly lines of Bestronics, assembled in their casing, and used as products in the market.

What are you going to do?

As an Electrical Engineer / Embedded Software developer your role is to translate system requirements into effective electrical solutions and software. This involves creating architectures, drafting electrical schematics, selecting components, designing PCBs, writing embedded code, prototyping and testing your designs.

You will play a pivotal role in the entire development process, from start to finish. Collaborate with the Team Lead, your fellow engineers and project managers to communicate with clients,  build relationships with our preferred suppliers to select and source the right components, and act as the bridge between R&D and production at Bestronics. Expect to interact frequently with the purchasing and production departments at Bestronics. Most of your work will take place in our office in Veldhoven, where you will join

The perfect candidate

Who are we looking for?

You are passionate about making our clients' tech dreams come true.

• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.

• You have at least 5 years of professional experience in schematics and PCB design.

• You have at least 5 years of professional experience in embedded software development.

• You’re passionate about fields like Digital Design, RF Technology, Power Electronics, Simulation and Modeling, PCBA Design, etc.

• You have experience with Python and/or Embedded software (C, C++).

• You have an analytical and structured approach to your work.

• You’re proficient in English, both spoken and written.

A gross salary between €4,000 - €6,000 based on full-time employment, depending on your experience and expertise.
